Raising Good Gamers Webinars are hands-on, participatory sessions that help parents build connection with their children while also reinforcing healthy boundaries around video games.

The sessions give parents the opportunity to learn about the video game landscape, connect with other parents and discuss challenges, and leave with practical, ready-to-use resources.

Video games provide an incredible opportunity for youth to learn digital citizenship, collaboration, social-emotional, STEAM, and resilience skills. As parents play and engage in game-based learning themselves, they are reminded that gaming offers skill-building in critical thinking, leadership, empathy, and resilience while bringing joy and connection.

The informative and collaborative sessions empower parents by offering a space to discuss concerns and make evidence-informed choices about the role of gaming in their homes. Parents will then bring home tools like the Family Gaming Code of Conduct template, the SPACE Framework, and Conversation Guides from our recently released white paper to ensure ongoing collaboration.

Webinars will take place on September 29 [10 AM EST], October 20 [6 PM EST], and November 19 [3 PM EST], with more in-person and virtual sessions planned.

Want to join us? Raising Good Gamers translates research into practical tools that help families and communities foster healthier relationships with games. We’re looking for partners to help expand the framework’s reach and meet the urgent needs of busy families, educators, and policymakers.
